Tasting Note

Pale in colour, not your usual yellowish oaky white Rioja. A fruity nose with citrus fruits, hints of green apple and gentle floral notes. A perfect balance of acidity and alcohol. A corker.

Producer

The winery is located in Samaniego, which sits at the foot of the Sierra de Cantabria Mountains in the heart of the Rioja Alavesa. Most of the inhabitants of this village are engaged in winemaking. The winery’s 15 ha of vineyards, with an average age of 50, benefit from the marl soil present in this area, which is ideal for winegrowing.
