Pujanza Anteportalatina White 2020 75cl

£59.95

Tasting Note

Floral aromas, citrus notes white-fleshed fruit and a hint of minerality. Full, direct attack, with an unctuous, fresh mouth-feel, showing the typicity of the vineyard it comes from. This is a wine rich in nuances, good body and complex aromas thanks to the work with the lees. Very long, lingering finish. Very limited production.

Producer

In 1998 Carlos San Pedro, still only 25 years old, created Bodegas y Viñedos Pujanza. His eyes were fixed on the vineyard, the zone’s growing conditions and the particular features of each vintage. It was about returning to fresher and more subtle wines, with good backbone, elegant wines with a balanced, pleasant mouth-feel, perfect for laying down. New traditional Rioja wines, with a distinctive vision as the starting point.
