Founded by Laurent Calmel and Jerome Joseph in 1995, the eponymous domaine offers a terrific variety of Languedoc-Roussillon wines. The duo strive to make their wines truly representative of their individual terroirs. Calmel & Joseph adopt a hands-off approach to their wine-waking; they believe a truly great wine should "not need any makeup." The wines are made without the use of pesticides, are hand-picked, and undergo gentle vinification. From their delicate Cremant de Limoux to their Minervois, Corbieres, or Pic Saint Loup, Calmel & Joseph bring style and grace back to the Languedoc-Roussillon.
