Owner and winemaker Pedro Araujo's 12 hectares of vines are planted in the Minho region in the Lima Valley and is the place that the Loureiro grape grows best. Pedro has restored the early 18th century Quinta back to its former glory (with a nice swimming pool) and farms his vines organically.
A delicious wine, Pedro is a real character and is exceptionally passionate about his wines. The Loureiro grape was always thought of as a young drinker, but Pedro ignored the nay-sayers and has proven that given a few years to age they develop complex aromatics and become outstanding wines.
