Mauro von Siebenthal, a lawyer and wine buff from Switzerland, wanted to start his own winery. In 1998, with four friends, his dream became a reality, with Vina von Siebenthal showcasing the environment of this area of Chile.
I remember trying the Parcela #7 maybe a decade ago, but lost contact with this producer, until recently and jumped at the chance to try the wines and found that they were delicious.
Loads of cherries and warmed liquorice and with a Brussels Sprouts aroma. The palate is dark with woody tannin and a bit of booze creeping through. A really tasty Bordeaux...
