Casa de Saima Tinto Reserva 2013 75cl

Grapes from the two oldest, and best, vineyards are used here. They're treated to foot-treading and open fermentation in lagares, before maturation in large, old barrels for 12 months. A little Touriga Nacional helps to flesh out the Baga structure. The Reserva is only released after it's had a few years in bottle, and although approachable young, this is a fantasticly ageable wine!
