Chateau Jacques Noir 2016 75cl

£21.50

Tasting Note

"Owned by the Ducourt, this Merlot is dense red with big black fruit aromas and cocoa coming off. The palate is soft, loads of Merlot fruit and gentle tannis. Delicious." Peter's Points 89pts

-          The Ducourt family acquired and settles in Chateau de Combes in 1858, in the heart of Entre-Deux-Mers. The property has been passed down through generations whilst also growing, including the additions of Chateau de Beauregard-Ducourt in 1973 and Chateau Vernous in 1976 (among others previously) to bring the family’s properties to a total of 150 hectares. Following the addition of numerous other Chateaus since (including Chateau Jacques Noir in 2002), the family now owns over 200 hectares, from which the aim was set to distribute wines under a common banner – ‘Les Celliers de Bordeaux Benauge’.
