Begins with an extraordinarily intense nose, smelling like the lime bit of chocolate lime sweets, and sleek minerality. While it is technically a sweet wine, there is enough natural acidity to it that you can hardly feel the sweetness; this wine is not cloyingly sweet by any means. It is surprisingly light, with a slight hint of pettiance that makes your tongue tingle! The palate opens up with ripe nectarine and tangerine, then delivers a big kick of lime, and finally, mellows out to a lingering finish of slate with a hint of white pepper.
