Big chocolate and coconut husk comes out of the glass followed by a load of jam and a handful of dry earth thrown in. The palate has a fresh start but then the thick, sticky tannin, bold fruit and sweet liquorice hits, followed by aniseed and cinnamon. A cracking, balls to the wall Zin with big fruit, big booze and big power. Just needs a steak.
