Owned by a father and son duo this wineries Crozes Hermitage red is aged in a combination of tanks, large wooden vessels and small oak, although no new wood is ever used, with the wine only ever being released two years after the vintage. This produces a plump and hefty wine with a tinge of sweetness and lots of blackcurrant flavours enhanced with meatiness. A wine that is broody if such a thing exists.
