England & Wales

English & Welsh wine - possibly the only positive spin on global warming! The sparkling wines from these two countries have been acclaimed for a while now, however the still wine has been.... well, sketchy at best. Things are changing now with some good producers making table wine that can hold its own with wines from more mainstream countries. Give them a shot and be a pioneer!

Jenkyn Place Blanc de Noirs 2010 75cl
Sea air with chanterelles on the nose, really pretty aroma with bread hints coming out. A big wine, lots of rounded fruit, a punchy, digestive biscuits and lemon cake flavour. Very very good balance - I like this so much....
