"Named after the famous Roman military general who defeated Hannibal in the second Punic War. 100% Cabernet Franc, from one vineyard at 400 metres. This extraodinary wine is only made in the best vintages. The wine spends 24 months in French Barriques, before another 12 months in bottle before release. Complex spice and floral notes, dusty cherries and plums with some savoury character and green bell pepper. Grippy tannins encompassing a velvety core."

Tenuta Sette Cieli is located between Bolgheri and Castagneto Carducci, on the coast of Tuscany at 400 meters above sea level. The Estate sprawls out over 70 hectares, 7 of which are set up as vineyards. The estate overlooks Bolgheri and its landscapes made up of gently downsloping hills that enclose the sea, thus creating a unique mild and temperate microclimate. 100% organic, all work done by hand.
