Auld Family Wines Wilberforce Riesling 2021 75cl
Tasting Note
Funky, petrolium, plasticine and lime and a big, gutsy, but pretty aroma of citrus and a little bit of icing sugar dusting it along. The palate has rapier like acidity. All the weight and petrol is around it but there is a zippy backbone of acidity driving the story along.
Producer
The Auld family have a long history in the Barossa, dating back to 1842 when Patrick Auld planted the Auldana vineyard just outside Adelaide. Jock & Sam now hold the reins, six generations later, and the winery continues to scale new heights.
